Sydney Dreamy Purple Haze, Jacaranda 悉尼梦幻的紫色阴霾，蓝花楹

Cherry blossom is a magnificent icon of Japan. Meanwhile, Australia has its own fascination- the dreamy purple-blue Jacaranda, It is a popular myth that, many years ago, a hospital at the North Shore gave Jacaranda seedling to the new mothers. They were encouraged to plant the trees and watch it grow along with their child. The trouble is, there is no record of any hospital giving away the plants.

Besides, Jacaranda is often being mistaken for an Australian native. However, these trees are actually indigenous to Brazil and have been widely planted in other countries such as Nepal, New Zealand, Mexico, South America, Cuba, Bahamas... and etc. The most common flower colour in Australia is a lovely lilac colour (Jacaranda Mimosifolia) which is often found at nurseries in tropical and warm temperature zone. There is a white-flowered form colour known as the "White Christmas", but it is much harder to find.
