This rose-tinted Mosque is one of the mosque distinctive landmarks in Putrajaya. It was constructed in 1997 and is heavily influenced by the intricately embellished architectural style of Baghdad and Morocco. Its deserts pink hue is the result of the granite it is mostly made of. The construction of the mosque was completed 2 years later. It consists of 3 main functional areas: the functional hall, the prayer hall, and the Sahn (courtyard) and others. This mosque can accommodate 15,000 worshippers at once. The rosy pink dome mosque looks like pink marshmallow from far.

Non-Muslims are welcomed to visit this place outside of prayers time. There is no administration charge. However, its primary role is a working place of worship for Putrajaya's Muslims Community. Visitors are required to dress respectfully. Female visitors will be directed to the robe counter to covered up by a pink-red robe with hood. Whereas those who are menstruating were prohibited from entering the main prayer hall to maintain its cleanliness and uphold purity. Shoes can be worn at the outdoor courtyard but must be removed once they step into the main prayer hall.

The Perdana Putra is the main building in Putrajaya, which houses the office complex of Prime Minister in Malaysia. The structural design of the building is influenced by Malay, Islamic and the European Neoclassicism. It was built in 1997 and has become the landmark for Putrajaya with its distinctive green dome and clay-like coloured buildings.

Rule 2:
Bags and video cameras are strictly not allowed
to carry into the Prime Minister's office.

Passport and international identification for
non-Malaysian is required upon entry.
