Devon Cafe- Barangaroo

Devon is one of my favorite cafes, despite I have been working part-time before in the one on Dank Street that has been closed last year. Missed the people there. A few weeks ago, my friend and I went to Devon Cafe to try on the winter menu during the truffle season.

The menu established in Devon Barangaroo has been carried through to its original cafe in Surry Hills. The cafe combines its fine dining approach with casual cafe culture and a little twist of Asian influence. We did not order the old favorites, which is the Egg Blinis and Breakfast with the Sakuma's. Instead, we tried their new truffle menu. Imagine the food is covered under the black truffle... (please be more generous with the truffles! Haha...)

House-made Truffle Soft Serve

Ebi Katsu Sando- Ebi Fry, Kiewpie Mayo Slaw, and Crustless Bread

Steak Sando- Cape Byron Striploin, Grilled Mushroom, and Steak Sauce
Went there again last couple weeks together with my B.F.F. traveling from Malaysia to try out their new menu. These are the food that we ordered.

Bubba Gump Omelette

Breakfast with the Sakumas

Mocha and Green Tea Latte

Love their spring menu dessert:
Cardi C French Toast

Waited outside of the cafe to be seated.

Interior of the cafe. We picked the indoor seat as the weather was quite cold that day.
